About the Artist

 Claudine deVries (née Claudine Samson) was raised in San Diego, California where she began her career in the makeup industry. Claudine began to work for MAC Cosmetics in 2006 while she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics at San Diego State University. Claudine pursued a career in Retail Management for MAC Cosmetics where she gained experience in business management and artist training. 

     During her career with MAC, Claudine earned her full certification with the company including advanced makeup application, fashion show and lesson for makeup class facilitation.  Her experience brought her to work in the San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles regions. Training and inspiring future artists and peers while being able to express her artistry and creativity has been the most rewarding experience for Claudine during her professional career.

      Claudine has since gained opportunities to work with many professionals in editorial & print shoots, short films and community theatre during relocations as a military spouse. Her recently published work was achieved during her time in Okinawa, Japan and can be viewed in Opium Red, Spellbound, Botanica and Teen Cruze Magazines. Claudine is now based out of Orange County, CA, and is available for opportunities in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles regions.
